Finnish Webropol Oy buys distributor

Webropol Oy strenghtened the foothold in the Nordic countries buy buying it’s Swedish distributor, Webropol Sverige AB. The entire capital stock was transferred to Webropol Oy in the transaction. Besides operating as an independent reseller on the Swedish market Webropol Sverige AB is also active in the Norwegian and Danish markets. The company currently employs 10 people.

”This acquisition cements the well working co-operation between these two countries and helps us grow the customer base of what is already the most widely used analysis and information gathering application in the Nordic countries” explains Erik Romar, principal stockholder and CEO of Webropol Oy.

”Our globally technical lead is a very favourable springboard for international resellers, with whom we expect to form similar arrangements in the following years as this increased co-operation with Webropol Sverige AB now” Romar continues.

Webropol brings Text Mining to its online survey software

First in the world, Nordic software company Webropol brings Text Mining capabilities to online survey software. Working as part of the Webropol toolset, the Text Mining solution allows for analysis, classification and grouping of textual answers based on occuring themes, keywords and respondent background data. Thanks to this toolset organisations can now process and analyse unstructured survey data more quickly, thoroughly, and objectively than ever before.

The much expected Free Webropol Facebook application now in public use!

Our customers can now spread surveys in Facebook either by sending it to friends or use the organization's fanpage to send it to all fans. This means you finally have a way of reaching people you do not have email addresses to!

Find it at http://apps.facebook.com/webropol/. (You need to have an account on Facebook to access it)

HOW TO USE IT:

Create your survey normally in Webropol and copy the public link. This link is then sent through the Facebook application, under the "Surveys" tab, and click on "Publish new Survey" in the upper right corner. All the collected information is stored directly in to the Webropol system, meaning that you can take advantage of all the usual reporting analysis tools.

You can also do small polls that spread a marketing message virally using the application under the "Polls" tab and click on "Publish new Survey" in the upper right corner. These small polls are free for all and the more you use it the more it will spread your messages virally!

The application does not cost the Webropol clients anything. The "Polls" part is free for any internet user. Compared to other free polling applications on Facebook no ads are shown and information is never passed on to external parties. Webropol being the organization's choice for online surveys we are very serious about data protection.

Renewed reporting available! Instructions how to activate it here!

We are delighted to inform you that the reporting in Webropol survey software is renewed. We have received a lot of ideas and suggestions from our clients on how to improve reporting. The new reporting fulfills the three biggest customer wishes:

1. It is easy to use
2. It is quicker than before
3. It produces ready to present material

The current basic report, e-report and reporting tool work normally until the end of 2009 after which they will be phased out of use. The new reporting works until then as a beta version And during this autumn we are gradually adding more features to it.

How to find the new reporting: In 'Forms' click on a published survey, scroll down the page to find "Saved reports" under which you will find the Beta-reporting icon.

Amazing service feedback from Webropol survey software users!

Webropol survey software users are highly satisfied with the service according to our customer satisfaction survey conducted in July 2009. A staggering 91.4 per cent of the users rated the service of the UK based international survey helpdesk very good or excellent.

Similarly Webropol users are also very satisfied with the survey trainings provided. Of those who have taken part in training over the last two years, 88,4 per cent rated relevance, contents and costs of training very good or excellent..
